About You:
- Experience of managing delivery portfolio, with annual revenues in excess of £20m+
- You will be able to demonstrate experience of leadership and management of large teams typically in excess of 100+ people in a combination of onshore, near shore and far shore distributed delivery models
- Extensive experience in account management and the growth of the delivery services though opportunity identification and progression
- Extensive experience of developing and managing commercial constructs supporting margin and growth targets
- You will be able to demonstrate experience of strong financial rigour and process governance ownership • You will have a breadth and depth of delivery management expertise in a matrix-based organisation, typically in a variety of delivery-based roles
- Expert in the use of different project and programme delivery methodologies
- Experienced in supporting the selling cycle, ideally including bid management experience
- You will have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate across boundaries, becoming a trusted advisor to the client
- You will have a consultative approach ensuring GL are providing the best outcome for the client
Job Responsibilities
As a Portfolio Delivery Director, you’ll manage a portfolio of projects and programmes located across different geographic regions. You will be responsible for the overall margin of the portfolio and provide delivery leadership and governance across the portfolio. You will be expected to engage with senior client and GL stakeholders as well as working closely with the BU leadership to identify new opportunities within clients.
- Successful delivery of services in partnership with the Delivery Practice Leaders, Global ISOs and regional DUGs across the portfolio
- Responsible for overall margin on a large or multi-client account portfolio.
- Work closely with the BU Sales leadership in developing and implementing tactical and strategic account plans
- Engage with Delivery Practice Leads ensuring mandated artifacts are in place at the point of transition from opportunity to execution
- Support and drive key business objectives and initiatives within the portfolio
- Ensure all deliveries within the portfolio are aligned and following the Delivery Framework and its mandated artefacts
- Ensuring the skills pyramid is aligned to achieving optimal delivery and financial performance
- Accountable for the overall client satisfaction of services being delivered within the portfolio and securing client references.
- Act as a mentor to the project and programme managers within the portfolio, leading by example and creating a supportive and learning culture for individual growth and attainment
