Role Description:
- Lead and oversee complex commercial office projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Develop strategic project plans, including risk assessments, stakeholder engagement, and resource allocation to optimise project outcomes.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, and consultants, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project objectives.
- Monitor project progress, conducting regular site visits and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts, manage procurement processes, and oversee financial planning to maximize project profitability.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, sustainability guidelines, and health and safety standards throughout all project phases.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and value enhancement, leveraging market insights and industry best practices to drive project success.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in commercial office projects in the UK.
- Strong background in construction, with a deep understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in budget management and financial forecasting, ensuring cost-effective project execution.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
- Relevant degree in construction management, real estate, architecture, or a related field, with professional certifications.
- RICS charterships is preferred but not mandatory.
