About SquareWell Partners
SquareWell Partners (“SquareWell”) is seeking to expand its advisory team to support its corporate and investor clients in special situations (shareholder activism, corporate transactions, and other contentious matters).
Ideal candidates will have pre-existing knowledge of corporate governance practices at listed companies, a keen interest in financial markets, and demonstrated experience with in-depth qualitative research. Experience in corporate advisory, preparing high quality deliverables (Word and PowerPoint), and regular communication with clients is preferred.
We expect all members of our team to be entrepreneurial and support the organization in a wide range of client and non-client needs.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Monitor and catalogue news and updates related to global special situations and distil key information to communicate to the wider team.
- Conduct qualitative analysis, including benchmarking and market reviews on governance topics, activism, and corporate transactions.
- Conduct company due diligence relating to governance practices, high-level financial performance, and ownership structure.
- Produce high-quality Word and PowerPoint-based material for clients to make public.
- Contribute to (and eventually lead) internal brainstorming on campaign narrative, and strategy, as well as the project management of client mandates.
- Collect information, synthetise data set and populate internal platforms.
- Identify new business opportunities and prepare materials for pitch meetings with potential clients.
- Enhance the firm’s brand through thought leadership, networking, and offering new ideas.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree with a strong academic record.
- Prior experience in a management consultancy or research-focused firm.
- Knowledge of corporate governance, shareholder activism, and/or corporate transactions relating to publicly listed companies.

Requirement Process
- There will likely be a large number of applications; as such, we may not be able to respond on an individual basis.
- The recruitment process involves an initial screening questionnaire, a case study, and two interviews (one in person).
- SquareWell has adopted a hybrid work model where team members are expected to be in the office at least four days a week.
