Role: Project Manager – Network Billing & Decommissioning
Location: London city or Weybridge ( this is greater London, approx 20miles from London city centre )
Contract: 6 months (Nov 2025 – Apr 2026)
Role Overview
Lead a key Network Transformation initiative focused on cost optimization and operational efficiency. You will manage circuit billing and network link decommissioning, ensuring accurate billing, timely service termination, and effective vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Billing & Financial Management: Validate invoices, confirm billing cessation post-decommissioning, and document cost savings.
- Decommissioning & Termination: Review network link inventory, coordinate vendor termination, and ensure legacy links are removed after replacements.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with vendors, procurement, and internal teams; maintain coordination logs; provide weekly status reports.
- Process & Documentation: Prepare termination confirmation reports, closure documentation, and maintain compliance with internal policies.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years in project management within telecom/network domains.
- Skills:
- Telecom billing and vendor management expertise.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred).
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and drive cost savings.
- Desirable: Experience with NSP portals, SolarWinds, and network transformation programs.
Deliverables
- Verified inventory and contract details.
- Vendor coordination log and contact matrix.
- Decommissioning schedule aligned with new installations.
- Termination confirmation and final cost savings report.
