Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Employee Experience, the Employee Experience Specialist will play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall employee journey and shaping a workplace culture that delights and surprises our colleagues. This company-wide role will involve collaborating with senior leaders and key stakeholders across DS, supporting both Business As Usual (BAU) activities and key projects as we continue to evolve as an organisation.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a small but mighty team of two, sitting under the wider People team. If you’ve developed strong internal communications skills in a large organisation, mastered the strategies, processes, and toolkits, and now want to apply them in a more agile, fast-moving business, this could be the perfect opportunity.
You’ll work across internal communications, engagement initiatives, and employee experience projects, ensuring our colleagues feel connected, informed, and inspired. From logistics and scheduling to bigger strategic projects, you’ll collaborate with leaders and stakeholders across the organisation, helping to create a culture where colleagues can thrive while ensuring everything we do aligns with Digital Science’s mission and values.
Bonus points if you have experience with video, graphics, and Canva to bring creative storytelling into the mix.

Employee Engagement and Culture
- Support in designing and delivering engagement initiatives that foster a sense of belonging and connection at DS.
- Help manage employee feedback mechanisms, ensuring leaders across the business take ownership of their results and action plans.
