About this role:
This is a key role within the organisation with an opportunity to be working alongside a wide range of departments, including external clients and third-party professionals. You will be a primary point of contact for investors and borrowers, ensuring their projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the quality specified. You will be assisting the team with construction drawdowns, managing individual loans and a wider portfolio. Therefore, this role requires someone who can take initiative, ownership, is solution driven, and can be proactive.
While there is a strong onus on development and construction, there is equally one on finance as you will be exposed to reporting, sales of units, sensitivity and cash flow analyses, and loan redemptions. There is opportunity to learn from Avamore’s processes, as well as adapting them to improve personal and company efficiency.
Initial Key Responsibilities:
· Acting as a point of contact for borrowers with queries surrounding their loan
· Reviewal of construction progress reports and organising drawdowns to borrowers
· Analysing, managing, and tracking drawdowns
· Progress site visits
· Organising sales of units and security release at full repayment of the loan
· Liaising with professional advisers e.g., solicitors, monitoring surveyors and valuers
· Prepartion of internal reporting
· Updating financial models and spreadsheets
· Receivership and recoveries work, where required
· Analysing loan ratios and sensitivity analysis
· Preparing and reviewing cash flow forecasts
· Reporting back on the status of individual loans you are managing to the Asset Management Team and making recommendations
Additional Responsibilities:
· Weekly reporting to senior asset managers
· General administration duties as required e.g., following up on charge registration, taking out of title insurance and tracking of borrower management fees
· Assisting with wider asset management and loan management when required
· Assisting with statistical reporting for marketing materials, industry body figures and internal communications
Skills Required:
· Previous experience in property preferred but not essential
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Strong analytical skills
· Excellent verbal and non-verbal reasoning and communication skills
· Strong IT skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel in addition to various internal and external programs and CRM
