A leading London-based insurance organisation is looking to hire an experienced
Senior Delivery Lead / Head of Delivery to lead
digital delivery and transformation initiatives across a complex, product-led technology environment. This is a senior, strategic role with responsibility for shaping delivery capability, governance, and operating models as part of a wider digital transformation programme.
Although the organisation operates within the
London Insurance Market, candidates with relevant experience from
financial services, fintech, SaaS, e-commerce, or other regulated enterprise environments are actively encouraged to apply.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and own digital delivery across multiple technology and product workstreams
- Define and implement delivery governance, portfolio management, and reporting frameworks
- Translate business strategy, objectives, and OKRs into delivery roadmaps and execution plans
- Manage cross-team and cross-portfolio dependencies
- Partner closely with Product, Technology, Architecture, and Senior Stakeholders
- Drive adoption of Agile, product-led, and modern delivery practices
- Provide clear delivery insight, metrics, and status reporting at senior governance forums
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Senior Delivery Lead, Head of Delivery, or Senior Delivery Manager
- Strong background in digital transformation, technology delivery, and portfolio management
- Experience building or improving delivery frameworks, governance models, and operating practices
- Solid understanding of Agile delivery, product-centric ways of working, and change management
- Demonstrated people leadership, coaching, and capability development experience
- Comfortable operating in complex, regulated, or large-scale enterprise environments
Desirable
- Exposure to insurance, financial services, or regulated industries
- Experience working in organisations undergoing digital or organisational transformation
