Now, we’re offering an exciting new apprenticeship opportunity to join us as a Performance Insight Analyst (PIA) — a role that combines your love of sport with cutting-edge data and technology.
As a Performance Insight Analyst, you’ll learn how to collect, understand, and use data to make a real difference to performance, wellbeing, and success in sport and performing arts.
This is a learning role — we don’t expect you to have all the skills yet! You’ll develop them through hands-on experience, training, and mentoring, all while working in real sports environments.
You’ll complete up to a 30-month apprenticeship programme that includes:
- Data Technician (Level 3)
- Data Analyst (Level 4)
- Specialist training in sports performance analysis
- Practical experience with an industry-leading data platform
By the end of the programme, you’ll have the skills and confidence to launch your career as a performance analyst in the world of sport and wellbeing.
What you’ll do
- Collect, organise, and analyse performance and wellbeing data
- Create clear, visual reports for coaches and staff
- Use data insights to help improve performance outcomes
- Work with real sports and performing arts teams
- Use technology and analytical tools to spot trends and patterns
- Communicate your findings to people in an engaging, easy-to-understand way
- Be part of exciting SCL projects and events
The safety and welfare of children is paramount to SCL, all applicants will be subject to thorough background checks to ensure their suitability to work with children. These will include, but are not limited to; reference checks, police checks, DBS checks and qualification checks.
