The Technical Project Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and driving bespoke consulting projects from initial inquiry to successful implementation and handover. Acting as the primary point of contact for consulting engagements, this role ensures that projects are scoped, executed, and delivered efficiently while maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Project Intake & Scoping – Setting the Stage for Success
- Act as the first point of contact for bespoke project inquiries, assessing feasibility and high-level alignment with the company's capabilities.
- Lead scoping and initial discussions in consultation with the Product and Tech teams, ensuring the feasibility of client requirements.
- Prepare and present Proposal/SOW (Statement of Work) based on validated requirements, balancing client needs with execution feasibility.
- Facilitate contract negotiation and SOW finalisation with the support of the CEO and President, ensuring commercial clarity and risk mitigation.
Project Execution & Management – Delivering with Precision and Urgency
- Lead project kickoff meetings, ensuring alignment on scope, milestones, and expectations across all stakeholders.
- Own end-to-end project management, maintaining clear accountability for timelines, risk mitigation, and budget control.
- Drive structured communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proactive updates and issue resolution.
- Enforce change request management, ensuring any additional scope is properly assessed, documented, and charged.
Client UAT & Sign-Off – Ensuring a High-Quality Outcome
- Oversee final testing, validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with the client to ensure all contractual deliverables are met.
- Lead final client sign-off, ensuring that all project objectives have been successfully delivered and validated.
Handover to CSM - SaaS – Seamless Transition for Ongoing Support
- Ensure a structured and seamless transition to CSM - SaaS, providing necessary documentation, training, and context.
- Collaborate with CSM - SaaS to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for the client in their post-go-live phase.
Cross-Team Collaboration & Stakeholder Management – Leading with Influence
- Act as the primary liaison between consulting clients and internal teams, ensuring clear expectations and smooth execution.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing to identify broader commercial opportunities from consulting engagements.
- Operate with complete self-agency, taking ownership of challenges and driving resolution proactively.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in software consulting, project management, or delivery management roles, ideally in Specialty Insurance or a closely related field.
- Strong expertise in project scoping, proposal creation, contract facilitation, and project execution for enterprise clients.
- Proven ability to own end-to-end project delivery, ensuring accountability at every stage.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
