About The Opportunity
Climate Arc is now hiring for three Program Officer roles. We are seeking motivated professionals to support the effective delivery of our in-house research and data solutions, as well as drive strategic initiatives across Arc.
Arc is working to increase the flow of finance at the pace and scale required to meet global climate goals and we work at a rate to match the urgency of the problem. The ideal candidates will be ready to hit the ground running and add value to the team from day one. You are solution focused and outcome oriented, able to support multiple activities in parallel and work dynamically and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include coordinating activities, gathering data, conducting research, liaising with partners and ensuring that Arc's internal systems are up to date with the latest information.
We are hiring for
three distinct Program Officer roles, each playing a critical part in delivering Arc's strategy of boosting the capacity of the climate finance ecosystem by coordinating projects from inception to completion across Arc's priority programs. You will be the driving force that ensures seamless collaboration across teams, acting as a go-to source for questions raised by colleagues and external partners, an anchor for day-to-day co-ordination across projects and programs.
Success in this role will require you to be highly organised, able to multitask and keep track of activities across programs. You will be a self-starter with deeply honed critical analysis skills enabling you to prioritise effectively based on your understanding of Arc's strategy and stakeholder engagement needs. You will have the opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives, learn new skills and dive into the content of Arc's work.
About The Roles
- Working with the Program Lead you will have a holistic view of all programs at Arc, playing a critical role managing multiple parallel timelines and ensuring milestones are reached. You will be adept at juggling a multitude of tasks, prioritising, taking initiative, anticipating and reacting to change as needed. You will support the Program Lead and team in engagement with key stakeholders - particularly partners we make grants to and other critical mission driven organizations and alliances
- Working with the Director of Research & Program you will drive coordination of engagement with key Arc stakeholders in the private sector including banks, asset managers, and other financial institutions as well as industry groups and alliances. You will approach every task with acute attention to detail and a high level of professionalism. You will diligently follow up on meetings and other engagement activities and maintain impeccable records. You will anticipate stakeholder needs, collating relevant data and information from across the organisation to share with them appropriately
- Working directly with the Chief Executive and senior team members across the organization, you will drive cross-functional initiatives that will catalyse the implementation of Arc's strategy. You will coordinate strategic initiatives involving high-level stakeholder engagement, internal communication and change management. You will be a creative solution finder, thriving under pressure with the ability to build credibility and work collaboratively at all levels, adapting to different working patterns and styles.
What you will be doing:
- Support the management and coordination of multiple key projects within wider, cross functional programs
- Actively engage with stakeholders, gathering feedback and insights that drive the effective implementation of strategies
- Coordinate internal and external meetings and workshop scheduling including material preparation, stakeholder consultations, and coordinating actions and follow-ups
- Ensure projects are updated within Arc's project management system (Asana) and work with team members on integration with other systems such as GitLab
- Manage data input to Arc's CRM (Nimble) ensuring contact details are up to date, interactions are logged
- Collaborate with the Communications & Engagement team on publications and events - both in person and online
- Support procurement and contract management for vendors and independent contractors
- Manage and maintain files and documents
Requirements
Who we are looking for:
You definitely have:
- Experience in the project delivery cycle - e.g. planning, resourcing, costing, monitoring & evaluation
- Demonstrated experience in contributing to interdisciplinary projects
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and intuitively prioritize
- Strong communication and presentation skills. The ability to liaise with stakeholders - to collect data, communicate findings, and seek feedback iteratively
- Ability to distil complex information into clear, actionable insights
- Experience in project management and CRM software as well as MS Office (particularly Excel & PowerPoint) skills
- Impeccable verbal and written English skills
You might have:
- Progressive experience managing projects or programs
- Experience working in one or more of the non-profit, management consulting or financial services sectors
- Experience or academic knowledge of climate finance
- Formal project management training/qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMP, or equivalent)

Location
For this role we can offer a remote first working option and are open to locations across the UK, Europe and South Africa.
Remuneration
Depending on experience and demonstrated capability, the salary range for this role is £30,000-50,000.
