Are you ready to make a real impact on one of the most ambitious energy projects in the UK? The Civil Works Alliance (CWA) is recruiting a Strategic Operations PMO to play a key role in the successful delivery of strategic and transformational initiatives that will drive the development of Sizewell C, a world-class nuclear power station generating low-carbon electricity for millions of homes across the UK.

As the Strategic Operations PMO, you'll work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and change practitioners to support and deliver complex strategic programmes. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring projects are well scoped, managed, and completed on time and within budget. You'll bring your expertise in project management methodologies to establish best practices and continuously improve the Alliance’s operating model.

In this dynamic role, you’ll be tasked with:

Leading the implementation of governance standards and methodologies across strategic projects.

Creating and maintaining integrated project plans to ensure smooth execution.

Managing resources efficiently and tracking performance across multiple projects.

Mitigating risks and driving continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Sizewell C is more than just a power station; it will help create reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years, contributing to the UK’s energy future and reducing carbon emissions. As part of the CWA, you’ll help us achieve this transformative goal, working with a talented team and collaborating with key stakeholders, including government agencies, EDF, and local communities.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Extensive experience in Project Management.

Proven leadership and communication skills.

Expertise in methodologies like PMI, Agile, and other project management tools.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field is desirable.
