A leading global research and advisory firm is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to drive the development and enhancement of technology products, including both Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions and internally developed innovations.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that technology initiatives align with business objectives, deliver value, and are completed on time and within budget. You will be responsible for leading complex projects, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
This role requires a strong background in project management, with expertise in both traditional and agile methodologies. However, practical application is key—processes and documentation should be efficient, value-driven, and support high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex technology projects, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Oversee the entire delivery lifecycle.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage interdependencies between teams for initiatives spanning multiple systems.
- Work closely with stakeholders to document requirements and maintain a prioritised backlog.
- Promote an innovative, high-performance culture within delivery teams.
- Mentor and coach team members.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in project management within a technical delivery environment.
- Experience working in highly regulated markets.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in tracking project progress and deadlines.
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams.
- Relevant project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master) preferred.
- Expertise in agile software development frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira).
