We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of DCS Change PMO.
Role context:
HSBC Derivatives Clearing Services are currently implementing a programme to build a robust and scalable capability in ETD Clearing (Listed Derivatives through Exchanges). This includes implementation of next generation ETD front to back technology solutions and associated operational workflows
To this end we require a strong Project Management Office Lead to support the programme manager, IT and business change head with:
- Test management – ensuring all documentation is in place and completed on schedule by workstreams
- Migration – ensuring plans and documentation are in place from all workstreams to drive migration as new automations are put in place
Good business analysis and strong organisational skills needed to join the Clearing Change Team to drive this role, working with various areas of HSBC Technology, Front Office and Global teams in Operations.
The successful candidate will be required to act independently and with flexibility; multi-tasking but still ensuring attention to detail, in line with HSBC project and control standards.
Engaging with all internal project stakeholders to ensure work is completed on time, fully tested, with documented evidence linked to business requirements
Ensuring project documentation has appropriate signoffs obtained and retained where required
Ensuring test plans are documented align with actual test results
Post migration actions are tracked and completed on time, with clear owners
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Strong project management office skills
- Planning and status reporting
- Experience in Agile Software Development teams and skills in JIRA, Excel, etc are essential
- Documentation preparation / review for testing & migration
- Good investigative skills
- Good understanding of operational risk
- Strong relationship building skills with both internal stakeholders
- Good communication, escalation and issue management skills
- Operations or IT business analysis / PMO experience at a top tier broker or Investment Bank
- ETD product and system knowledge highly desirable
- ETD Operations or IT business analysis / PMO knowledge is preferred
