About the Role
Liberty is looking for an experienced, Business Analyst to support business change by collaboration with a varied set of stakeholders and teams. The role will report into the Digital Product Manager and will be a part of the Tech division. The role will be key in the discovery process to uncover customer pain points and business opportunities, ensuring solutions deliver to business requirements, and business process change is appropriately modelled and managed. No week is the same and the candidate will get the experience of working on initiatives across an exciting landscape for both store and ecommerce environments.
Core Responsibilities
Work with business and technology stakeholders to
- Identify and evaluate work that requires technology change
- Agree and document scope, requirements and technical considerations
- Define as-is and to-be processes and states
- Critically assess the need for requirements and provide both objectivity and subjectivity to stakeholders
- Document business requirements using appropriate deliverables - requirement backlogs, process flows, functional specifications, etc.
- Ensure a smooth transition from initiative to BA
- Support Product Manager by assessing new ideas to understand the full impact on our business and technology estate and support business case development
- Project Management of small/mid size changes or enhancements
- Facilitate and contribute to the selection process for new software and partners
- Support sprint activity, communicating status and risks to Product Manager & senior stakeholders
- Main areas of focus will be on digital marketing, CRM, email and web development
- Collaborate with the Digital Team on user testing and experimentation
- Support the training of business users on new systems or processes
Candidate Requirements
- Experience as a Business Analyst (and/or in related roles such as Product Owner)
- A good understanding of the Retail sector, the technologies and capabilities that are required to support different channels
- Ability to work with technical staff and have enough understanding to validate whether technical solutions are likely to meet customer needs
- A pragmatic and flexible approach (we are a relatively small company so you may be given work outside of your core responsibilities)
- Ability to form relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Self-starter and an inquisitive mind
Desirable
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, AX or similar ERP, Epicor, a PIM platform,
- Experience with Monday.com & Jira
- Basic understanding of GDPR, customer data privacy compliance and accessibility standards
