An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to work as part of a dynamic team, supporting the development of high quality, integrated care across South London.
We are looking for a Project Manager to join the South London Office of Specialised Services (SLOSS) team to lead a portfolio of work with links across the overall programme, that builds, manages and maintains strong and collaborative working relationships with all the key stakeholders. This exciting post will be instrumental for coordinating system wide, robust team working to achieve direct impact on South London services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring patients have equitable, timely and, where appropriate, local access to comprehensive, high quality, clinically sustainable and financially viable services – irrespective of where, when, or how, they access services. The post holder will work closely with clinical leaders and commissioning colleagues across South London, plus programmes and initiatives at local, South London, and London levels.
The role is suitable for those with excellent project management skills and coming from an operational background wishing to broaden their experience, as well as those coming from a strategic and/or clinical network background. You should have demonstrable experience of delivering transformational change initiatives and significant influencing and persuasion skills to engage with the wide range of teams and stakeholders for the programmes.
You will need to be able to work across a range of teams and have the experience to navigate multiple organisations. You will work with the existing overarching workstreams of specialised and core commissioning, directing and advancing their progress towards high quality healthcare, with targeted improvement of the patient experience, quality, and value for money.
The post is hosted by Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, with accountability to SLOSS, its provider organisations, and NHS England.
Candidates are encouraged to submit their interest early. Recruitment may close early in the event of a large number of applications received.
We may appoint more than one project manager to the SLOSS team through this process. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
Interviews will be held Monday, 3 March 2025.
