About Rap Therapy: Rap Therapy is a dynamic organisation dedicated to empowering young people through creative workshops that combine music, mental health, and personal development. We are seeking a motivated Program Manager to join our team for a 3-month contract, with the potential for extension based on performance and project success. Role Overview: As a Program Manager at Rap Therapy, you will be responsible for liaising with schools and youth organisations, maintaining and expanding our network of partners, and ensuring the successful delivery of our workshops. You will manage workshop bookings, coordinate presenters, and track all related administrative tasks, including invoices and spreadsheets. Your goal will be to increase our reach to new schools while maintaining strong relationships with current partners. You will be expected to meet the target of booking a minimum of 17 workshops per month.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner Engagement:
- Liaise with schools and youth establishments to build new contacts and retain relationships with existing partners.
- Foster long-term relationships with schools, ensuring a positive experience with Rap Therapy’s workshops.
- Identify new opportunities to increase our reach and expand into schools we are not currently working with.
Workshop Coordination:
- Allocate workshops to the appropriate workshop presenters based on availability and expertise.
- Ensure all logistics are in place for each workshop, including scheduling, location, and resources.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain up-to-date spreadsheets to track workshop bookings, invoices, and other relevant data.
- Ensure that all workshop-related information is accurate and well-organised.
- Provide regular updates to the team on workshop progress and any challenges.
Performance Targets:
- Achieve a minimum target of 17 workshop bookings per month.
- Work to expand our reach into new schools and organisations that have not yet been involved with Rap Therapy’s programs.
Qualifications:
- Experience in program management, outreach, or similar roles (preferably in the education, youth development, or non-profit sector).
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, particularly with schools and youth organisations.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) for tracking bookings, invoicing, and other administrative tasks.
- Self-motivated with a goal-oriented approach and a strong drive to achieve results.
- Passion for youth empowerment, education, and mental health initiatives.
Duration: This is a 3-month contract position with the potential for a longer-term contract based on performance and project outcomes.
