Due to Growth within Educationwise Academy's OUTSTANDING team we have an excellent opportunity to join the Educationwise Academy team, within a new role as a Business Development Manager.
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager at Educationwise. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and developing strategies to increase company revenue. This role will involve conducting market research, creating sales pitches, and collaborating with the marketing team to promote our educational programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development
- Manage a portfolio of employer accounts, acting as the primary contact for apprenticeship-related queries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers to ensure continued business and high levels of satisfaction
- Ensure the successful onboarding of apprentices and employers into the apprenticeship programs
- Provide ongoing support to employers throughout the apprenticeship lifecycle.
- Ensure apprenticeship programs are delivered in accordance with the latest standards and guidelines
- Support employers to create their DAS accounts
- Maintain accurate records of all employer interactions
- Prepare regular reports for management, including KPI tracking and employer satisfaction levels
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and cross-sell additional apprenticeship programs
Person Specification/Experience:
- Sales, Business Development, and Account Management skills
- Experience in conducting market research and identifying new business opportunities
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools
- Experience in the education or training industry is a plus
