Contract PMO Analyst – Managing finances, keeping everything on track..

Contract details: 6 months initial (likelihood to extend)
Rate P/D: £400 per day (Inside IR35)
Are you a PMO professional who thrives where numbers meet delivery? A major organisation undergoing a high-profile transformation is looking for a detail-driven PMO Analyst to take full ownership of project financials across a complex portfolio. This isn’t just budget tracking—this is about creating clarity, strengthening financial governance, and ensuring leaders have the insight they need to make the right calls.
Your mission:
- Own end-to-end financial management across multiple projects
- Maintain accurate budgets, forecasts, actuals, burn rates, and financial dashboards
- Ensure controls are in place and adhered to across all project teams
- Work closely with Finance, PMs, and leadership to validate data and provide insight
- Prepare concise financial reporting packs for SLT and program leadership
- Support wider PMO governance activities where finance impacts delivery
Who we’re looking for:
- A PMO Analyst with strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets
- Confident analysing, validating, and presenting financial data clearly
- Someone structured, accurate, and unshakeable in maintaining financial controls
- Experienced in project/portfolio reporting; exposure to complex change environments is beneficial
- Able to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders with evidence-based insights
