Contract PMO Analyst – Managing finances, keeping everything on track..

Location: Remote UK

Contract details: 6 months initial (likelihood to extend)

Rate P/D: £400 per day (Inside IR35)

Are you a PMO professional who thrives where numbers meet delivery? A major organisation undergoing a high-profile transformation is looking for a detail-driven PMO Analyst to take full ownership of project financials across a complex portfolio. This isn’t just budget tracking—this is about creating clarity, strengthening financial governance, and ensuring leaders have the insight they need to make the right calls.

Your mission:

Own end-to-end financial management across multiple projects
Maintain accurate budgets, forecasts, actuals, burn rates, and financial dashboards
Ensure controls are in place and adhered to across all project teams
Work closely with Finance, PMs, and leadership to validate data and provide insight
Prepare concise financial reporting packs for SLT and program leadership
Support wider PMO governance activities where finance impacts delivery

Who we’re looking for:

A PMO Analyst with strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets
Confident analysing, validating, and presenting financial data clearly
Someone structured, accurate, and unshakeable in maintaining financial controls
Experienced in project/portfolio reporting; exposure to complex change environments is beneficial
Able to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders with evidence-based insights
