Job Purpose
Are you a detail-oriented and strategically minded professional looking to make a real impact? We are seeking a Portfolio Analyst to join our Enterprise Portfolio Team. In this crucial role, you will help steer our portfolio towards outcome-focused objectives by establishing simple governance structures and robust performance measurement systems, including OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
You will facilitate approval forums, ensuring meticulous documentation of notes, actions, and decisions to enhance transparency and accountability reporting to the Head of Portfolio Delivery Standards and Assurance..
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective governance and standards across the portfolio.
• Drive optimal allocation and utilisation of resources to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
• Facilitate approval forums and ensure accurate documentation of decisions and actions.
• Effect decision-making to streamline the portfolio and support delivery of results.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Demonstrable experience in a PMO/Portfolio office, leading the development and maintenance of PMO processes.
• Excellent understanding of project governance and project management lifecycles.
• Proven experience in defining and implementing PMO processes that improve project delivery performance.
• Strong organisation skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel and escalate issues when necessary.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office products to a high standard, especially MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g. Management of Portfolios (MoP), PRINCE2, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP)).
