About the Role
VFS Global is seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Manager – Tourism Operations to oversee and coordinate tourism operations across Europe and the Russia/CIS region. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic, multicultural environment and enjoys ensuring smooth, efficient business operations. We are looking for individuals with experience in project management, client servicing, destination marketing, or tourism-related assignments, ideally with exposure to large-scale or government-led projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily tourism operations and administrative activities, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Support regional teams with operational and back-office coordination.
- Maintain vendor records and ensure timely processing and payment of invoices.
- Manage petty cash, prepare vouchers, and produce payment reports.
- Coordinate procurement, maintenance, and repair of office facilities and supplies.
- Liaise with vendors, service providers, and internal departments to ensure compliance and service quality.
- Monitor operational performance and prepare activity reports for management.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (postgraduate qualification desirable).
- Experience: 5–8 years in operations, administration, procurement, or tourism management.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.
- Experience working with cross-cultural teams is an advantage.
