BeMA Cyber Tech is a fast-growing technology company delivering AI-driven applications, website development, and full-stack digital solutions for clients across multiple industries. We are now seeking a Head of Technology & Business Development to lead our technical team and drive the next phase of our growth.
The Role
This is a dual-focused leadership position, blending technology leadership with business development. You will:
- Lead and mentor a small team of developers working on AI, web, and backend solutions.
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring high standards of code quality, security, and scalability.
- Identify and win new business opportunities — from networking and tendering to closing deals.
- Work closely with clients to design and deliver innovative digital solutions.
- Shape the company’s technology roadmap and contribute to overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow the development team, introducing best practices (Agile, CI/CD, DevOps).
- Drive technical delivery of AI applications, websites, and backend systems.
- Build relationships with potential clients and partners in the UK and beyond.
- Lead on proposals, bids, and technical solution presentations.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies to keep BeMA Cyber Tech competitive.
About You
We’re looking for someone entrepreneurial, ambitious, and hands-on. You will have:
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Head of Engineering, CTO, or Solutions Architect.
- Strong background in full-stack development (Node.js, Python/AI/ML, modern front-end frameworks).
- A track record of leading technical teams and delivering successful client projects.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to spot, pitch, and secure new opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills — able to engage both developers and business stakeholders.
