You will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and bringing new products to market. As Junior Brand Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end development process, from idea generation and concept to product launch and post-launch review. This role requires strong project management skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a keen understanding of market trends and consumer needs.
This role requires a dynamic professional who can strengthen our brand identity, oversee marketing campaigns, and drive public relations efforts to enhance visibility and engagement. The Junior Brand Manager will play a key role in shaping our brand strategy and ensuring consistent communication across all channels. You will also support with retailer marketing plans and supporting with events and branded activities, to ensure product messaging resonates across all customer touchpoints.
New Product Development (NPD)
Support with the project management of NPD projects to ensure delivery COTIF BY:
· Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of NPD projects, from concept to launch and post-launch evaluation.
· Ensure alignment with brand strategy and market trends while managing cost targets and timelines.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate best-value deals, and ensure quality and compliance across territories.
· Drive process efficiency, including project reporting, risk management, and continuous improvement.
· Ensuring all NPD Projects are set up following the In-House Project Management System
· Support head of Brand in scoping process to ensure target COGs are realistic to marketing brief and product specifications
· Ensure Weekly project updates are shared including key simplified CPA timings progress reports.
· Support the Head of Brand with managing COGs, highlighting tolerances to target COGs as early as possible, offering creative solutions and options.
Marketing & PR
· Manage and maintain the marketing calendar and campaigns to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
· Own and maintain the retailer 360 documents for each NPD launch.
· Lead creative copywriting and oversee messaging consistency across all customer touchpoints.
· Drive PR strategy, including managing relationships with external PR agencies, media outlets, and influencers.
· Oversee event planning, sampling programs, press launches, and retail activations to enhance brand visibility.
· Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations to internal and external stakeholders, including global retail partners.
· Analyse campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize marketing ROI.
· Work with sales teams to support all marketing and sampling activity in all retail partners.
· Support in the day-to-day management of the PR agency with weekly / bi-weekly meetings and project updates.
· Weekly business updates and brand communications to be shared with all internal teams.
Supplier & Budget Management
· Expediting queries, quotes and samples daily
· Conduct negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve best value rates achieving and overachieving target COGs on NPD
· Work closely with Head of Brand to ensure spend agreed is allocated over the 12-month financial planning for cash flow management
· Maintain supplier visits, tradeshow and exhibition visits to keep up to date with new products and innovations
· Manage and optimize marketing and PR budgets to ensure maximum efficiency and impact.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
· Partner with internal teams to ensure cohesive brand storytelling and seamless execution of launches.
· Support sales teams with marketing assets, collateral, and training.
Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and key industry partners.
Adherence to Stock, Quality Control and Accounts Policies and Procedures
· Ensure all NPD products are transferred to all Demand Plans, Production Schedules and MRP systems
· Support in NPD administrative duties to ensure suppliers deliver on agreed quality, service and price
· Create Stock codes, raise POs & Bills of materials as and when required
