About The Role
We’re hiring a senior product leader to own and scale our global commerce infrastructure stack, starting with two teams, and growing into five. This includes our tax, compliance, and cross-platform products that power how merchants expand internationally, stay compliant, and run complex operations across borders.
You’ll define the vision, lead the teams, and drive execution across a high-leverage product area that sits at the centre of Swap’s platform. This is not a feature track; you’ll be leading foundational infrastructure that ties into pricing, checkout, payments, returns, and reporting.
What You'll Do
- Own the product strategy for Swap’s Global platform; including tax, compliance, cross-border logic, and platform-level orchestration
- Build and lead multiple product teams over time, starting with 2, growing toward 5
- Define roadmap priorities across international expansion, tax automation, and regulatory workflows
- Work closely with engineering, design, and domain experts to ship high-integrity, high-leverage systems
- Collaborate across product, commercial, and partnerships to ensure global logic is embedded into the rest of Swap’s stack (e.g. pricing, inventory, checkout)
- Develop clear KPIs for team success: speed to launch, platform accuracy, margin recovery, and platform reuse
- Represent the Global product surface internally and externally — especially as we scale partnerships and integrations
- Strategise AI for Global Commerce
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years in product, with deep experience in cross-border commerce, tax infrastructure, or global compliance
- Proven ability to lead product teams working on technically complex, business-critical systems
- Experience building at scale; ideally in SaaS, platform, or multi-region environments
- Familiarity with tax platforms, regulatory infrastructure, or international expansion tooling
- Strong product craft; able to balance delivery, discovery, and long-term system thinking
- Comfortable leading in ambiguity, with a bias toward clarity and action
