We are looking for a Head of PMO to establish, lead, and enhance our Project Management Office (PMO). This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Project Manager or Deputy PMO Lead seeking their next step in strategic leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing PMO frameworks, governance structures, reporting mechanisms, and training initiatives across both operational functions (HR, IT, Finance) and client-facing teams.

Develop and implement PMO governance to ensure consistency, best practices, and structured project prioritisation.
- Oversee the project portfolio, tracking progress, mitigating risks, and optimising resource allocation.
- Build and manage a high-performing PMO team, identifying talent gaps and driving capability development.
- Monitor performance and reporting, providing senior leadership with insights on project KPIs, risks, and successes.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration, aligning project execution with business objectives and transformation initiatives.
- Lead change management and communication, ensuring stakeholder engagement and adoption of PMO processes.
- Continuously improve and innovate, leveraging automation, AI, and best practices to enhance project efficiency.

Proven experience in project/programme management within a structured PMO environment.
- Experience in professional services, FinTech, or financial services is highly desirable but not essential.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives.
- Experience in establishing and scaling a PMO function is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project methodologies.
- Excellent data-driven decision-making and reporting capabilities.
- Strong understanding of risk management, compliance, and governance frameworks.
- Change management expertise to drive the adoption of best practices.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe Agile) would be an advantage.
