Infrastructure Project Manager
Location: Hybrid - Travel to London & Sheffield (1 Day Per Week in Rotation)
Contract Type: Contract Inside IR35 - Until November 2025

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Windows Migration Technical Project Manager to lead a global migration project for approximately 220,000 users in a financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical infrastructure background, excellent vendor management skills, and experience working with Wipro, TCS, or similar global vendors.
This role will focus on end-to-end Windows migration, managing vendors, ensuring smooth implementation, and aligning with business and regulatory requirements across multiple global locations.
- Contract Duration: Until November 2025
- Onboarding Timeline: 4-6 weeks before full project engagement
- Travel Requirement: 1 day per week in rotation to London & Sheffield
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Windows migration project for a 220,000-user global deployment
- Oversee vendor management, working closely with Wipro, TCS, or similar global service providers
- Manage end-user computing (EUC) and infrastructure transitions, including Windows 10/11 migrations, Office 365 rollouts, and desktop transformation projects
- Ensure successful migration execution across multiple global locations, meeting financial services compliance and security standards
- Work closely with stakeholders across infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure alignment
- Define project scope, milestones, risks, and dependencies while ensuring adherence to industry best practices
- Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues
- Deliver regular project updates and reports to senior leadership
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience leading large-scale Windows migration projects in a global enterprise
- Strong vendor management experience, ideally with Wipro, TCS, Infosys, or other major global SIs
- Financial services experience, with an understanding of regulatory and compliance implications for IT migrations
- Technical infrastructure expertise, including Windows OS migrations (Windows 10/11), Office 365 rollouts, and EUC transformations
- Experience managing global deployments across multiple regions
- Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and technical teams and provide clear project updates
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies
- Strong risk management and issue resolution skills
