Product Director

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Product Director to join LDN. We are a fast-growing and successful apprenticeship company and we are looking for a product leader to take ownership of, and develop, our product strategy.
Reporting to the COO, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the strategic development of our apprenticeship programmes, technology platforms, digital learning content, quality and compliance. As this is a cross-functional role you need to be a strategic thinker and a highly effective leader. You also need to be willing and able to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with LDN’s mission, drives revenue and customer growth, meets market demands, and improves learner and employer experience.
- Collaborate with departmental leaders on the end-to-end product lifecycle, working with them on ideation, design, implementation and evaluation, continuously focusing on improvements to LDNs products.
- Identify opportunities for new apprenticeship and other learning programmes that align with LDN's portfolio and regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate with departmental leaders to design, develop, implement and evaluate new products, ensuring that these are effectively integrated into LDN's operations.
- Maintain a robust feedback loop with employers, learners, and stakeholders to guide product innovation and improvements.
- Lead the development and maintenance of our technology roadmap to enhances operational efficiency and learner experience.
- Working with departmental leaders, establish the vision and strategic leadership required to optimise LDN’s technology platforms, including Salesforce and Thinkific (LMS).
- Strategically lead on AI solutions which improve programme delivery and increase organisational efficiency, working closely with departmental leaders on implementation.
- Ensure all technology investments align with organisational priorities and deliver measurable value.
- Act as the accountable person on LDN’s Audit and Risk Committee.
For this role you must have
- Proven experience in a senior product or programme development role, preferably within education, apprenticeships, or a related sector.
- Demonstrable success in developing and delivering product strategies that drive organisational growth and customer satisfaction.
- Experience in leading digital transformation projects for CRM and LMS systems.
- Strong track record of managing regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and quality improvement processes.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior leadership to align product goals with organisational strategy.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and influence people and develop a high performing team.
- Familiarity with Ofsted standards, apprentice funding rules, Salesforce and Thinkific platforms, AI and digital learning content.
