Project Manager – Asset Management / Investment Management
£100,000-£120,000 per annum plus Bonus & Benefits
Our client is a leading Asset Management company and currently has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join their Change team on a permanent basis in London.
The role will involve delivering change projects which support achievements of the Group strategy in an effective and efficient manner. Specifically, you will be delivering Front Office projects relating to Private Assets, property, and illiquid assets. Front office and / or experience of alternative assets is highly desirable but they are also open to candidates with strong Project Management experience in other areas of Asset Management.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and leading the delivery of the whole change lifecycle for projects.
- Developing and leading cross functional change teams which may include both task and line/people management, establishing an environment of trust and empowerment.
- Developing and agreeing budgets for projects, controlling forecasts and actual costs against these.
- Identifying and monitoring project risks, planning and implementing responses to these and responding to other issues that may affect projects and portfolios.
- Developing, maintaining, and applying quality management processes for project activities and outputs
- Managing stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interests.
- Establishing and managing reviews at appropriate points during and after projects, which will inform governance of projects by providing evaluations of progress, methodologies and continuing relevance.
Experience Required:
- Experience of leading project teams with minimal support and supervision.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Experience and / or knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery practices.
- Ability to work effectively on multiple, concurrent, or competing projects.
- Highly competent in using planning tools and experienced in implementing and operating financial control frameworks.
- Has previously delivered Change Projects in an Asset Management organisation.
- Front Office projects delivery experience is highly desirable.
- Experience in alternative asset classes (e.g. Real Estate) is highly desirable.
