Job Title: IT Service Operations Manager

Location: Hybrid – Leatherhead & Swindon

Salary: Up to £80,000

About the Role

We are looking for an IT Service Operations Manager to lead a small technical team for an Entertainment Company, managing and supporting a key technology platform delivering services to public and private sector clients. You’ll own day-to-day IT service operations, ensuring systems remain secure, scalable, and aligned to business and client needs.

This is an ideal role for a hands-on IT operations leader with experience in ITIL service delivery, Agile working, and managing technical teams in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee IT service delivery across platforms, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
Line manage technical leads and drive team development.
Run Agile ceremonies, track delivery, and prioritise work based on client needs.
Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to capture and deliver change requests.
Establish and manage governance processes, producing regular performance reports.
Manage supplier relationships, support procurement, and contribute to bids and proposals.
Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and ways of working.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential:

Proven experience managing IT service operations and technical teams.
Strong working knowledge of ITILv4 and service management best practices.
Experience working within an Agile delivery framework.
Good technical knowledge across PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, integration, and reporting platforms.
Ability to manage suppliers and hold them to account against KPIs.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Jira administration.
