What does this team do?
Delivery of our Audit work increasingly relies on the understanding of large datasets, complex models, and the reporting produced from them. Our Data & Analytics team empowers our Audit and Assurance teams by providing the expertise to analyse, interpret and validate the data and models we receive from the businesses we audit.
By using cloud-enabled technology and our expanding library of tools, we are able to automate complex data and develop insights through advanced analytics. This enhances audit quality and efficiency across all industries and systems, transforming the future of audit.
This role is crucial in ensuring we remain at the forefront of audit innovation, leveraging data and technology to deliver exceptional service.
What skills and academic qualifications do I need?
This immersive programme offers high-achieving university students the opportunity to apply their academic skills to real-world challenges.
Candidates must be in the penultimate year of an undergraduate course, or going onto a Masters, you will also need to be on track for a 2:1 or higher degree classification in any discipline.

This four-week placement puts you at the heart of our business, surrounded by experts who can help you to flourish. Throughout this time, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the largest listed and privately-owned firms in banking, insurance, and various corporate sectors.
This role offers opportunities to push boundaries and develop skills to help set you up for a rewarding career. You will be challenged to think critically and solve complex problems, whilst working within a supportive and collaborative team.
Where will I work?
At Deloitte we recognise how important face-to-face interaction is for your development in a new role. We also understand that our people need flexibility, which is why we operate a hybrid system, with a combination of office and home working. If you’re in a client-facing role, you might be expected to attend client sites on certain days, while your meetings will be a mix of online and in-person events.
