General Overview
The Project Manager understands customer project objectives and takes ownership of Anthesis’ contractual requirements defined in the Statement of Work. They manage resources assigned to fulfill those requirements using an implementation methodology, lead implementation planning, control project plan and overall execution, develop positive relationships with all customer project stakeholders creating a high level of customer satisfaction, and help the customer realize expected benefits. They are responsible for the successful outcome and profitability of the project. Also assist in Business Development, Sales and Pre-Sales.
Main duties and responsibilities:
· Successfully manage full life-cycle client-facing implementation and upgrade projects, assisting in the realisation of business benefits through:
Collaborating with the Customer in planning, monitoring and controlling all phases of a project
Scheduling the work and allocating Anthesis resources, communicating tasks to be done to the project team
Monitoring and controlling deliverables and other project activities, such as cost control, risk and issue management, and change request control.
Project Governance, preparation of regular Project Status Reports, and attendance at Steering Group meetings.
· Delivery of a profitable and successful project.
· Expectation management and development of ongoing, successful business relationships with clients
· Provide clients with "best practice" recommendations
· Mentor and train other employees in the Anthesis team
· Participate in the Pre-Sales process for a client implementation
· Work on Anthesis business development activities
· Submit timely & accurate client billable expense & time reports as required by management.
· Complete accurate status reports & follow-up on unresolved issues as requested by management or client.
Other Duties
· Attend relevant subject matter briefings & training sessions
· Skill set development, knowledge-sharing & improvements in self and others
· Other such reasonable duties within the general scope of the job
Requirements of the Role
Education/Qualifications:
· Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
· Project Management Certification: PMP or Prince 2
Experience:
· Approximately 5-10 years of Project Management experience in full life-cycle ERP implementations, preferably IFS or M3.
· A minimum of 5 years of ERP industry experience in IFS or Infor key industry sectors (manufacturing, distribution, project engineering, maintenance)
· Successful delivery of both Fixed Price, T&M and milestone-based contracts
· Successful delivery of new implementations and upgrades
·Management of project implementation budgets in excess of £1m.
Skills/Knowledge:
· A high degree of project planning, organizational skills, and systems integration expertise
· Project Management methodologies – SCRUM / Waterfall / Agile / Prince2
· MS Office skills, Excel, PowerPoint, MS-Project
· General technical aptitude
· Data analysis & interpretation
