About the client:
A leading international bank with a strong platform in project finance, infrastructure and energy is seeking a VP to join its Energy & Infrastructure Portfolio Management team. The platform supports complex assets across power, renewables, oil & gas and wider infrastructure, with increasing focus on the energy transition.
Key Responsibilities:
The role focuses on the post–financial close portfolio management of a portfolio of project finance loans. Responsibilities include credit and risk monitoring, review of waivers and amendments, maintaining internal credit grades, and ensuring compliance with financial and legal documentation. You will analyse construction, technical and operational reports, financial statements and project finance models, while supporting ongoing portfolio performance.
Candidate Profile:
- 5+ years’ experience in project finance or portfolio management within infrastructure and/or energy
- Background from a bank, infrastructure/energy fund, or credit-focused institution
- Strong experience managing portfolios post–financial close, including credit monitoring, waivers and amendments
- Solid understanding of project finance documentation, financial models, and risk frameworks
- Comfortable working across multiple live transactions in a regulated environment
- Confident communicator with experience engaging internal stakeholders and external counterparties
- Strong judgement, attention to detail, and a proactive, ownership-driven approach
