Our client is a leading Pan-European Private Equity Real Estate (PERE) firm with a strong track record in the logistics sector. Well-capitalised and supported by major institutional investors, the firm is now seeking a Senior Analyst or Associate to join its Fund Management team in London.
This is a highly analytical and hands-on role that offers significant exposure across portfolio management, data-driven fund analysis, and strategic financial modelling. The ideal candidate will have exceptional quantitative skills, advanced Excel modelling capability, and an entrepreneurial, proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced Excel-based fund models to forecast fund-level returns.
- Prepare annual business plans across multiple funds and a portfolio of 100+ investments.
- Partner with Asset Management teams to enhance decision-making through data analysis and scenario testing.
- Support the Investment team by providing portfolio analytics to inform acquisitions and capital allocation strategy.
- Assist the Finance team with portfolio refinancing, debt covenant analysis, and performance monitoring.
- Track and analyse asset performance versus underwriting assumptions.
- Develop and improve fund-level reporting and analytics tools to enhance investor transparency and internal decision-making.
Candidate Profile
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including large, complex datasets) and strong PowerPoint skills.
- First-class degree in Mathematics (or a highly quantitative discipline).
- Prior experience within real estate private equity, investment management, or related fields preferred.
- Familiarity with fund structures, financing, and promote waterfalls advantageous.
- Additional European language skills highly desirable.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
