My client a non-profit organisation specialising in Education and Culture is looking for a Lead PMO to join their team to lead and direct a programme and project delivery team in the design, development, planning, and management of large projects and programmes across multiple business areas. You will oversee effective programme design, delivery, and implementation. Manage and influence virtual, dispersed project teams to deliver high-quality products and services globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate a clear vision and roadmap for project and resourcing teams, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.
- Provide leadership for major projects/programmes and functional areas.
- Maintain Project Delivery Plans aligned to corporate priorities and targets.
- Negotiate realistic timetables and targets for delivery based on market context and technical feasibility.
- Ensure projects are structured, staffed, and resourced effectively for cost-efficient delivery.
- Lead planning and allocation of resources, including commissioning technical expertise.
Skills & Experience Required to be Successful
- Leadership and team management experience
- Managing large multi-million pound projects
- Agile and Waterfall delivery experience
- Experience leading global digital/technology projects/programmes
