With a multi-jurisdictional presence and a track record of building sector-leading platforms, the firm invests behind long-term secular trends across enterprise software, digital infrastructure, data & analytics, cybersecurity, vertical SaaS, and technology-enabled services.
The platform deploys capital into technology assets across Europe, with targeted expansion into North America where sector alignment and competitive dynamics warrant. Its strategy integrates proprietary thematic work, deep domain knowledge and an active partnership ethos designed to support management teams through internationalisation, operational excellence and long-term strategic development.
To support increasing investment activity, the organisation is seeking an Investment Associate to join its London team. This role offers meaningful exposure to Partners and Investment Committee, tangible responsibility across all phases of the investment lifecycle, and the opportunity to contribute to the shaping of high-growth technology assets.
Key Responsibilities
Thematic Sourcing & Market Origination
- Conduct structured research into key technology verticals to identify high-conviction themes and emerging sub-sectors.
- Build proprietary sourcing channels through direct outreach to founders, management teams, advisors, bankers and co-investors.
- Map markets, competitive dynamics and ecosystem trends to support forward-looking investment theses.
- Represent the firm at industry events, founder summits and technology conferences to deepen network visibility and deal access.
Investment Execution & Transaction Leadership
- Lead valuation workstreams, financial modelling, LBO structuring and sensitivity analyses.
- Manage cross-functional diligence processes (commercial, product/tech, financial, legal, regulatory) in collaboration with senior deal team members.
- Prepare high-quality IC materials articulating industry context, business quality, risks, returns and value-creation pathways.
- Support negotiations and the full transaction cycle from term sheet through signing and closing.
Portfolio Value Creation & Strategic Support
- Partner with portfolio leadership to accelerate revenue growth, GTM refinement, pricing optimisation and internationalisation.
- Develop KPI frameworks, dashboards and performance diagnostics to support strategic decision-making.
- Work on bolt-on acquisitions: screening, synergy mapping, integration assessment and execution support.
- Contribute to exit preparation, vendor materials and secondary processes as assets mature.
Internal & External Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate closely with Partners, operating teams and external advisors to drive investment conclusions and post-investment strategy.
- Assist with investor reporting, fund analytics and select fundraising activities when required.
Candidate Profile
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in private equity, growth equity, investment banking (TMT/software focus), high-end strategy consulting, or a comparable analytical, deal-oriented environment.
- Exposure to completed transactions and the ability to run analytical modules with limited supervision.
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Advanced financial modelling and valuation capabilities, including LBOs and SaaS-specific metrics.
- Strong understanding of recurring-revenue models, go-to-market funnels, retention dynamics, and unit economics.
- Ability to translate complex data into crisp insights for senior stakeholders.
Commercial Judgement & Sector Curiosity
- Passion for technology and emerging digital ecosystems; ability to articulate informed views on product differentiation and competitive strategy.
- High degree of intellectual curiosity and comfort forming independent perspectives.
