Artmax is a single family office with investment operations worldwide. The investment operations span across most investable asset classes in public and private markets. This Investment Analyst role, based in the London office, is part of the global investment team which operates as one single team across offices in Hong Kong, Sydney and London.
Job Description
- Research: Conduct market research and develop internal knowledge across full range of asset classes in public and private markets.
- Asset allocation strategy: Collaborate with other team members to formulate strategic asset allocation to achieve the investment objectives.
- Investment due diligence: Evaluate investment opportunities through qualitative and quantitative analysis, prepare investment recommendations and assist in execution of transactions as assigned.
- Trade support: Provide trade support to authorized traders in the team to execute approved transactions, including pre-trade preparation and post-trade recording within internal systems.
- Reporting: Produce regular investment reports, research notes and analyses. Deliver independent insights as primary researcher on specific topics.
- Build relationships: Build and maintain working-level relationships with banking partners, external managers and other business partners.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with global teams to ensure smooth operations and effective information / knowledge exchange across regions.
Skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
- 0 - 2 years of experience in institutional or investment banking, private equity, family office, asset management, fund management or related fields.
- Experience, knowledge or strong interest in multi-asset investment, or portfolio management.
- Desire to pursue professional qualifications such as CFA.
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets with strong self-learning motivation.
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly motivated, disciplined and capable to work independently.
- Passion to learn and develop a long-term career in investment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams across global offices.
