A dynamic and expanding Sustainability team within a well-established investment organisation is seeking a proactive Sustainability Analyst. This role offers the opportunity to shape and advance the firm’s sustainability agenda while working closely with senior colleagues and a range of investment teams.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will support the integration of sustainability considerations across the business, strengthen responsible investment practices, and help deliver the organisation’s long-term ESG objectives. The position will involve driving sustainability projects, contributing to climate-focused initiatives, and assisting with both regulatory and voluntary reporting in a rapidly evolving landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support investment teams with responsible investment, stewardship, and ESG integration.
- Monitor and help oversee sustainability processes across the organisation.
- Analyse ESG data and provide insights to investment teams.
- Lead and contribute to sustainability and climate-related projects, including net-zero initiatives.
- Deliver required sustainability and climate reporting (e.g., TCFD, PRI).
- Assist with emerging ESG regulations and product-related requirements, including fund labelling.
- Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional ESG work.
- Contribute to client ESG due diligence and the organisation’s wider sustainability strategy.
Skills & Experience
- Strong academic background and experience within the investment or financial services sector.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
- A solid understanding of ESG issues and a genuine interest in sustainability.
- Relevant sustainability or ESG qualifications/training are advantageous.
- Strong Excel skills preferred.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, continually developing area of the business.
