Equifind are proud to supporting a profitable, acquisitive and high growth FX/Crypto Brokerage based in the City of London, by St. Pauls, in hiring a Senior Trade Support to report in to the Head of Ops/COO.
The firm are 20 in total headcount wise and are in the office 3 days a week and have a fast paced culture. Based across four countries and rapidly expanding having just completed an acquisition.
Role Overview
As Senior Trade Support and Operational Analyst, you will play a key role in the firms global operations team that runs across multiple regulated entities, driving efficiency, compliance, and innovation in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. You will join a diverse team covering client services, treasury, reconciliation, white label solutions, and OTC desk operations, ensuring seamless execution, risk control, and client satisfaction across all business lines.
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, this role is both strategic and hands-on—ideal for an aspiring operations leader—and combines a deep understanding of financial markets with the operational expertise required to scale a multi-asset brokerage business.
Key Responsibilities
Operational go-to expert
- Assist in leading and managing the global operations function, including client services, treasury, back-office operations, OTC trading, and white-label implementations.
- Establish, document, and enforce consistent standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all the firms entities.
- Oversee daily operational performance, ensuring accuracy in reconciliation, settlements, and trade lifecycle processes.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally with Sales, Compliance, and Technology to optimise processes and service delivery.
Strategic & Product Development
- Participate in enhancements to trading and back-office systems.
- Recommend optimisations to the firms product offering.
- Actively participate in managing existing banking relationships, liquidity providers, and prime brokerage partners to support business expansion.
- Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and product innovation within the operations framework.
Regulatory Oversight & Risk Management
- Adhere to the operational compliance across multiple regulatory jurisdictions
- Maintain effective controls for trade and operational risk, in line with internal governance and external regulatory requirements.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a senior escalation point for operational or technical client issues, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings, advising on performance metrics, technology initiatives, and risk assessments.
Skills & Experience Required
- Extensive experience in financial operations, ideally within FX, crypto, or multi-asset brokerage environments.
- Proven track of operating within multi-jurisdictional operational teams and cross-border business functions.
- Understand of trade lifecycle management, reconciliation, and liquidity management processes.
- Experience with FIX and WebSocket APIs, as well as platforms such as OneZero, PrimeXM and Metatrader.
- Familiarity with the regulatory frameworks and operational compliance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining high operational standards.
