Thrive within our high-performance culture as you experience hands-on learning, tailored training, and a strong support network.
Our Retail function is made up of departments that cover products, operations and services; together more than 9,000 colleagues design, develop and deliver compelling banking and savings products to our customers, supported by an excellent range of services and through multiple channels. We’re looking for high-performing, purpose-driven focused on meeting our customers' needs and helping our channels deliver excellence every day.
During your two-year programme, you’ll rotate across Group Retail sub‑functions, building the skills and knowledge to prepare for a future role as either an Assistant Product Manager or a Change Consultant. Alongside your role, you’ll have the option to pursue role‑related qualifications.
Your journey will focus on developing expertise in the product development lifecycle, project management tools and techniques, and building confidence in influencing, communication, and stakeholder engagement, including at executive levels. You’ll gain exposure to multiple teams and initiatives, balancing the commercial needs of Nationwide with providing simply brilliant experiences for our customers. One of your rotations will be in a customer‑facing area, giving you valuable insight into the needs of the people we design and deliver products and services for.
You’ll access a bespoke 24‑month learning journey, developing core business skills that complement your role‑specific development. You’ll also join a broader Skills Development cohort, attending workshops and sessions while working alongside high-performing colleagues from across the organisation.
