Role Overview
Seeking a highly motivated Private Equity Associate to join their infrastructure-focused investment team. This individual will contribute to all stages of the investment lifecycle - from sourcing and diligence through execution and ongoing portfolio value creation. The role offers significant exposure to senior investment professionals and leadership teams across multiple portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research, competitive analyses, and thematic reviews across infrastructure and essential-services sectors.
- Build, refine, and stress-test detailed financial models, including operating projections, returns analyses, and valuation models.
- Support the evaluation and execution of new investments, including due diligence, deal structuring, and coordination with external advisors.
- Prepare investment materials and recommendations for internal committees.
- Assist with portfolio company initiatives, including operational assessments, KPI tracking, M&A add-on scouting, and strategic planning.
- Maintain ongoing awareness of sector trends, regulatory dynamics, and emerging investment themes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, project finance, consulting, corporate development, or related analytical roles.
- Strong modeling capabilities and fluency in valuation methods (DCF, precedent transactions, comps, project-level modeling).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, concise insights.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Collaborative team player with a self-starter mindset and strong intellectual curiosity.
