About the Project
We are building a new dating experience that blends online and offline worlds:
- Offline: A unique dating bar and restaurant based on a London boat, offering singles an exciting, romantic, and memorable environment for meeting in person.
- Online: A companion dating app designed to connect people before they step on board, inspired by market leaders but tailored to merge UK dating culture with innovative social features.
Our goal is to create a differentiated brand that combines the energy of a nightlife venue with the network effect of a dating platform. We are now seeking a co-founder with dating app experience to lead product vision and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the product lead/co-founder for the dating app, responsible for product strategy, roadmap, and execution.
- Leverage insights from Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, or other dating apps to build a competitive, user-friendly product.
- Oversee user experience, feature development, and growth strategy.
- Collaborate with the offline team to ensure seamless integration between the app and our physical dating bar.
- Support the building of a product/tech team and contribute to fundraising discussions.
Requirements
- Prior experience working at Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, or similar dating/social apps (essential).
- Strong knowledge of UK dating culture, user habits, and market dynamics.
- Proven track record of building or scaling mobile products from 0 → 1.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to join as an early-stage co-founder.
