Looking to hire an Investment Analyst to join their growing investment team in London. The successful candidate will play an integral role in all aspects of the investment process, from origination through to execution and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the evaluation, analysis, and execution of new investment opportunities across Europe.
- Lead elements of financial modeling, valuation analysis, and preparation of investment committee materials.
- Support due diligence processes, coordinating with advisors and management teams.
- Contribute to portfolio monitoring, including financial tracking and strategic value creation initiatives.
- Conduct sector and company research to support sourcing and thematic investment work.
- Engage in deal structuring, negotiations, and preparation of transaction documentation.
Candidate Profile
- 1 to 2 years of experience in investment banking (M&A, leveraged finance, or industry coverage) at a leading global or boutique institution.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, including advanced financial modeling and valuation proficiency.
- Demonstrated transaction execution experience and a deep understanding of corporate finance fundamentals.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities; capable of producing polished, concise materials.
- Highly motivated, intellectually curious, and comfortable working in lean, entrepreneurial teams.
- Fluency in English required; additional European languages are a plus.
