Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead and oversee various projects within our clients organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in managing complex projects from inception to completion. This role requires a deep understanding of project management methodologies and tools, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
NOTE you will be required to supply photo ID (driving licence and or passport) if you are approved to the next stage. This position involves working in conjunction with the UK government, the successful applicant will be working on a secure project.
Responsibilities
- Supervise remote project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among team members.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and implement solutions promptly.
- Manage requirements gathering sessions to define project scope and objectives clearly.
- Oversee the implementation of ERP systems and ensure alignment with business processes.
- Maintain strict time management and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilise project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Jira to track progress and report on milestones.
- Develop and maintain organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Facilitate meetings using tools like Confluence, Basecamp, or SharePoint to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
- Apply data analysis skills to assess project performance metrics and make informed decisions.
- Prepare presentations for stakeholders that effectively communicate project status, risks, and opportunities.
- Implement methodologies such as SAFe or Waterfall to enhance project delivery efficiency.
- Collaborate with product management teams during product development phases to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Experience
- Proven experience in team management and supervising diverse groups in a project environment. from any of the following backgrounds, experienced in Data control, Compliance, Logistics or Manufacturing.
- Familiarity with content management systems and their integration into project workflows is advantageous.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in using tools such as Smartsheet, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Visio, and Project Server is preferred but not essential.
- Experience in data analysis techniques using SAS or similar tools will be beneficial for this role.
