Role Summary:
The People AI Implementation Manager will lead the integration, coordination, and optimisation of AI technologies, process and best practice across the People function. This strategic role is responsible for bringing together AI across the People function and guiding the development of scalable AI solutions that enhance operational efficiency, enable data-driven decision-making and elevate the employee experience. Acting as a connector across systems and stakeholders, the specialist ensures AI initiatives are aligned, ethical, and impactful.
Key Responsibilities
1. AI Strategy & Integration
- Develop and execute a coordinated AI strategy and roadmap for People aligned with organisational goals.
- Identify high-value use cases across the employee lifecycle (e.g., recruitment, onboarding, performance, learning).
- Ensure AI tools are scalable, interoperable, and integrated with existing People systems and organisational standards and best practice for AI.
2. AI Tool Management
- Evaluate, select, and manage AI-powered HR platforms and vendors.
- Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of AI tools (e.g., ATS, LMS, HRIS).
- Ensure seamless integration with platforms.
3. Data Analytics & Insights
- Work in partnership with People and enterprise data teams to leverage AI for people analytics, predictive modelling, and workforce planning.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights for People and business leaders.
- Collaborate with data teams to build dashboards and reports to support strategic decision-making.
4. Process Automation & Content Generation
- Automate repetitive People tasks (e.g., CV screening, interview scheduling, benefits queries).
- Use generative AI to create job descriptions, training content, and personalized communications.
5. Ethical AI Governance
- Establish and uphold ethical standards for AI use in People.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and IT to ensure fairness, transparency, and data privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Monitor and mitigate algorithmic bias in hiring, promotion, and performance evaluations.
6. Change Management & Capability Building
- Champion AI adoption across People and the wider business.
- Design and deliver training to build AI literacy among the People function.
- Act as a trusted advisor to People leadership team on AI trends and opportunities.

Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Deep understanding of HR processes and systems across the employee lifecycle.
- Experience with AI tools in HR (e.g., HireVue, Pymetrics, Eightfold.ai).
- Familiarity with employment law and ethical AI frameworks.
- Project management certification (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).
