Job Overview
We’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional projects that improve healthcare services and outcomes. You’ll combine leadership, structured delivery and clear communication with strong organisation to ensure projects land on time, on scope, and on budget. An understanding of the UK healthcare/NHS environment is essential.
What you’ll do:
Goal setting and Project Planning
The Project Manager will understand and set out the project objectives, deliverables and dependencies in relevant project management documentation. They will identify the necessary resources, estimate project budgets, define project scopes, create schedules and consolidate this information into comprehensive project plans written in Monday.com.
Project Leadership and Communication
The Project Manager will handle multiple projects concurrently and establish leadership and communications across different teams to build effective cross-departmental collaboration and motivation. They will contribute to the overall integrity of the portfolio and proactively align with other project managers in the team on interdependent risks or conflicts and build a good awareness of how the various parts of the organisation impact one another.
Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation
The Project Manager will closely monitor, track and control project plans, finances, RAID and outcomes throughout the project and manage these appropriately. They will facilitate team meetings to ensure performance, progress and to identify and address risks and issues that arise. They will ensure excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure positive project outcomes. They will also prepare lessons learned and follow on actions and manage project closure.
What you’ll bring
- Proven and extensive experience leading multi-disciplinary teams through projects from inception to completion.
- Broad experience in Microsoft suite and project management software, ideally with minimum 2 years’ experience in Monday.com.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail; comfortable with budgets, benefits tracking, clear project planning and RAID logs.
- Superb written/verbal communication skills and confident with managing clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
- Adaptable and calm under pressure, with a focus on solutions and outcomes that matter to patients and staff.
- Must-have: understanding of the healthcare industry (NHS pathways, providers, health tech).
