SFR Medical: Expert Witness Coordinator
Who we are
SFR Medical provides written medical reports for UK police forces to use in the investigation and conviction of violent crimes. We have been in existence for over seven years – our proprietary solution has reduced waiting times for the production of medical reports. This greatly helps police officers, NHS staff, the criminal justice system, but most importantly, victims.
What we’re looking for
The Expert Witness Coordinator role is an integral position in our business. We’re looking for an individual with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail who has the desire to be a part of a fast-growing social and entrepreneurial company. Key attributes of individuals who excel in this role are conscientiousness, reliability and being able to prioritise tasks. It is crucial that the individual feels at ease with working on a system that is being updated regularly, and with a workload that is growing rapidly. Equally important is the ability to communicate professionally to police officers and work well with colleagues to support each other in a team environment. All communication should be grammatically correct, timely and honest. You must also have a positive can-do attitude, a willingness to learn and the ability to adapt to new processes.
Attending training (which we provide) is mandatory.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Receiving and relaying patient sensitive information between police officers and medical institutions.
- Recording and updating the system to reflect the status of a request and the requirements needed before it can be completed.
- Attending regular virtual meetings with other members of the Operations team.
Other things to note:
You will be handling extremely sensitive information, so you will need to adhere to specific security and safety protocols, as well ensure that your actions are compliant with the Data Protection Act 2018.
This purely a working-from-home role for which SFR Medical will supply a company laptop. The ideal candidate needs to be able to studiously work from home. In order to help our clients and the victims they represent, the ideal candidate needs to be self-motivated to strive for targets, willing to help others within the team when needed and keen to suggest improvements to any processes as they become apparent.
We are looking to hire one applicant. Details of training are below:
- The successful applicant will start their two-week training for this role on Monday 15th September 2025, and start in the role on Monday 29th September 2025. The successful applicant will be required to returned a signed contract and complete vetting application before Monday 25th August 2025.
- Two hours of training is required each day during the training weeks.
- Training occurs virtually over Microsoft Teams.
Gross monthly payment for the role is £2500. This permanent position has an initial six-month probationary period.
The Expert Witness Coordinator position has enormous potential upside, ranging from the ability to make a real impact on the criminal justice system to getting experience in an rapid-growth stage entrepreneurial venture with founders who are passionate about helping others.
About us
SFR Medical (https://sfrmedical.com) is a social entrepreneurial MedTech start-up based in London.
SFR Medical exists to expedite the provision of medical evidence for victims of violent crime. The traditional system is slow, cumbersome, unreliable and fragmented. Experiencing such frustrations as part of the everyday workings of the NHS, our Executive Team piloted a process which formed the origins of our now efficient SFR Medical process, resulting in a 85% reduction in waiting times, increased confidence in local policing and less frustration for the hospitals. Following the great success of this pilot, SFR Medical was founded.
Since SFR Medical’s inception, our team has grown, our operational processes have been enhanced and refined, our cybersecurity strengthened to the highest standards and our product offering list expanded.
However, what remains at SFR Medical’s core is our vision to create a world where victims of violent crimes are supported through robust technology, compassion and accurate data. To go beyond evidence.
