We have exclusively partnered with a European mid-market private equity firm who are seeking an Investor Relations Associate to support across fundraising and investor relations activities. This position will report directly into their Head of Investor Relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project management for fundraises including assisting with drafting and revising all marketing and diligence materials, with a particular focus on financial information (marketing presentations, information memorandums and DDQs).
- Managing internal relationships and liaising with third-party advisors.
- Proactively preparing materials to support the Head of IR in investor interactions for co-investment, fund investment and continuation vehicle transactions.
- Drafting and revising marketing materials.
- Maintain and update fund-level financial models, performance forecasts, and return scenarios and carrying through quarterly financial information to key VDR and presentation documentation.
- Support scenario modelling for exits, continuation vehicles, and secondary transactions.
- Contribute to process improvements and knowledge-sharing across the team.
- Helping prepare content for investor events such as the annual investor meeting and advisory board meetings
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2–3+ years’ experience in investment banking, private equity placement, or consulting preferably in an IR/fundraising environment.
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with proven experience in financial modelling and scenario analysis.
- Strong understanding of fund structures, LP reporting, and performance metrics.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and attention to detail.
- European language skills preferred but not required.
