We are looking for a Product Manager to support POLITICO’s mission in the UK, connecting and empowering professionals through nonpartisan journalism and actionable intelligence about UK politics and policy.
The position is available at our office in London.
As the first dedicated Product Manager for POLITICO Pro in the UK, you will be responsible for:

Identifying and validating information and function needs for existing and prospective subscribers to POLITICO Pro in the UK. Establishing yourself as our clients’ champion, understanding their workflow, key focus areas, pain points and information needs.

Prioritizing high-impact features, based on the needs above, for public affairs and policy professionals in Westminster and delivering them through best-in-class user experiences.

Listening to the feedback from, and answering specific issues for, our Pro subscribers in the UK to continually inform the product discovery of features from other product managers on the team.

Supporting our platform users' questions and assistance, aiding you in getting closer to the user and their needs.
What You’ll Do
At POLITICO, product managers lead the product strategy and delivery for their area.

They are responsible for establishing, maintaining and communicating the product roadmap of their team: prioritizing initiatives at the crossroads of both user needs and business opportunities.

They collaborate with the newsroom, designers, analysts, and business partners to research new–or improved–features and products, conducting qualitative and quantitative user research, stakeholders interviews, benchmarking, etc.

They deliver these features and products with the newsroom, tech and design teams, and contribute to the go-to-market strategy with the marketing and sales teams.
What You’ll Need
You would be a great fit if you:

Have at least 2 years of experience in product management or product-adjacent roles (product marketing, product design, audience).

Have product ownership experience: you have worked with designers, developers, and analysts, wrote product briefs or other types of product specifications, led agile rituals, etc.

Have media experience or domain knowledge: you are familiar with a variety of traffic channels, including SEO, and you understand editorial workflows as well as publishers’ business models.

Make data-informed decisions that support both user and business needs.

Have launched or improved products or features used by millions of users, and know how to balance agility with business risks.
