PMO Analyst
Location: Horsham, England, United Kingdom (3 days a week in person)
Contract: 2 Months +
Start: ASAP
Rate: Inside IR35, £375 a day

Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the governance of the Benchmark change portfolio, ensuring adherence to PMO standards and methodologies.
- Ensuring communication and compliance with project management standards throughout all stages.
- Supporting projects to align with established governance, business goals, and expected outcomes.
- Contributing to the analysis of project proposals, particularly regarding funding, timelines, business outcomes, and benefits.
- Providing accurate and timely reports on programme status throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assisting in resource planning across projects, identifying risks, conflicts, or issues.
- Maintaining portfolio-level RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) reports and motivating project team members throughout the project lifecycle, while collaborating with staff to develop work plans.
- Tracking and reporting on project performance to support decision-making.
- Assisting with project communications, including coordinating steering committee meetings and status reports.
- Ensuring alignment of project goals with business objectives.
- Supporting and coordinating project personnel to ensure timely delivery within budget.
Requirements
- Expertise in the principles, methods, techniques, and tools for effective project management from initiation to successful business outcomes.
- Proven experience in managing complex programmes in challenging project environments.
- Confidence to provide clear advice, challenge difficult decisions, influence senior managers, and work under pressure.
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement abilities.
- Experience in budget management.
- Proficiency with KeyedIn software.
- Strong IT literacy, including proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, KeyedIn, MS Project, or equivalent tools.
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and in a professional manner.
