Lead a Major Digital Transformation for a Local Authority
An exciting opportunity to spearhead a high-impact digital transformation programme within a local authority. This role is ideal for an experienced leader passionate about innovation, service improvement, and driving digital excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic digital transformation roadmap aligned with the council’s vision and priorities.
- Advise senior leadership on digital strategy, emerging technologies, and innovation opportunities.
- Foster a digital-first culture, driving continuous improvement across all services.
- Oversee a portfolio of digital projects, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality delivery.
- Establish performance metrics and reporting frameworks to measure success and impact.
- Identify and manage risks, resolving challenges to ensure programme success.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across the council, from elected members to frontline staff.
- Champion the adoption of emerging technologies such as AI, automation, and data analytics to enhance service delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience leading large-scale digital transformation programmes (public sector preferred).
- Strong expertise in digital technologies, data analytics, and change management.
- Public sector experience (local authority exposure is highly desirable).
